In 2011, in a small Texas town, Holly McLanahan gave her oldest daughter a simple idea: sell some jewelry, sell some clothing, make a little extra money. What happened next? The whole family showed up.
Almost overnight, The Vintage Leopard became a full-on family operation. Holly's husband and two youngest kids took over the living room every evening — surrounded by boxes, packing tape, and more shipping labels than anyone planned for. It was a little chaotic, completely imperfect, and entirely theirs.
From the very beginning, Holly was building more than a boutique. She was raising daughters who would know what women are truly capable of — and a son who would learn that dedication and hard work are worth every long night. (We're still working on convincing him to model. 😄)
Today, her daughter Mady is right by her side — running the social media, doing the buying, styling the shoots, and bringing The Vintage Leopard to a whole new audience. You may even recognize Mady from her appearance on Love Island USA Season 4 on Peacock, where she told the world exactly what she does: "My family owns an online clothing store, and I do all the marketing, the social media, the buying, picking out clothes, styling, planning the shoot...
" The response? "You're a hustler. That's super attractive." (We agree.)
With another daughter joining the team soon, The Vintage Leopard keeps growing — and it's all still family, all the way through.
